Today, we proudly announce our new response to Bill called “Amsterdam versus O’Reilly 2”. It took a little longer than planned, but we’re happy with the result as we think it truly exposes the nonsense of the American “News program” The O’Reilly Factor. But we didn’t just aim this response at Bill. We really started the discussion because many people around the world still have a distorted view on Amsterdam, mainly related to our liberal drugs policy.

Bill O’Reilly calls us “far left” and “propagandists”. We don’t feel like that at all, but we do believe in creating a society which allows people to make there own choices, as long as those choices respect the freedom and safety of others. And we believe news media have a responsibility to remain objective, something Fox News doesn’t seem to take to seriously at all (although they pride themselves for it in their own promo commercials).

Many different people visit and live in Amsterdam and we’re sure that they all perceive the city differently. For those of you with an opinion about the true nature of the city we made it real easy to upload your own video on our site. We’d love to see your perspective!

We encourage you all to give your vision and opinion on our beloved hometown so that eventually this site will present a “fair, balanced and accurate” portrayal of Amsterdam.
